Highfields Overview

Highfields is the brand new, exciting development from the owners of Lowfields Country Holiday Fishing Retreat.

Highfields has been created using the same ethos and ideologies that have played an important part in establishing the ‘Lowfields’ brand over the last 20 years. Based upon a similar theme, Highfields offers customers peace, tranquillity & relaxation. We are a high quality retreat focussed upon providing excellent fishing, natural surroundings and exceptional customer service.

Buck in a meadow

The location is stunning. Highfields is set in 120 acres of picturesque parkland with rolling meadows and 30 acres of woodland. Combine this with stunning countryside views, 3 attractive fishing lakes, and an abundance of wildlife and it is easy to see why Highfields is such a special location.

The lakes have been designed with the pleasure angler in mind. They are large, nicely contoured and well stocked with fish of all species and sizes - Carp (Mirror, Common & Crucian), Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach and Perch are to mention a few. Our Carp go to double-figures + and there is also a Crucian, Tench and Silver fish only lake – perfect for the children, beginners or those who like to use lighter tackle.

Family strolling in woodland

If fishing isn't your hobby then Highfields still has plenty to offer with scenic walks around the lakes and woodland, lots of variations of nature to enjoy, and plenty of activities nearby. You may just be content to relax and read in the lovely surroundings or perhaps allow time to simply drift away whilst watching the Buzzards circle above the wood, or by admiring the Deer as they wander close by. There is an air of peace and tranquillity that most parks can never achieve.

We acknowledge that people want a beautiful site where quality reigns throughout, with local attractions nearby and luxurious Holiday Homes with plenty of models to choose from. Exclusivity is a very important factor at Highfields – fishing for the public is restricted to one lake, located in the meadow near Reception, and we do not cater for Touring Caravans. (For Tourers, we can recommend an excellent CL touring site 200yds along Mareham Lane. Tom Smith and his family run the site at Monks Wood Farm. Tom can be contacted on Tel: 01529 240800).
